Joe Moorhead will stick around to coach Oregon Ducks in Alamo Bowl, per report
Joe Moorhead has already found his next job, but that doesn’t mean the door is closed on his time at Oregon.
Moorhead will stick around to coach the Ducks in the Alamo Bowl, John Canzano of The Oregonian/OregonLive reported Wednesday evening.
Akron has announced that Moorhead will be its next head coach. He is returning to the Zips after serving as a position coach and offensive coordinator with them earlier in his career.
But he will be along for the ride with the Ducks when they face Oklahoma in San Antonio on Dec. 29.
Bryan McClendon has been named Oregon’s interim head coach for the bowl game.
