The 2023 NFL Scouting Combine has kicked off in Indianapolis this week with no shortage of buzz surrounding players with ties to the Oregon program.

In total, six Ducks received invites to the Combine: offensive linemen Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu, T.J. Bass, and Alex Forsyth, linebacker Noah Sewell, outside linebacker DJ Johnson, and cornerback Christian Gonzalez.

Gonzalez, a third-year sophomore cornerback, is considered by many to be one of the top prospects in this year’s Draft. ESPN’s Mel Kiper projected Gonzalez as the No. 6 overall pick in his latest mock draft and noted that this week could be pivotal for him.

“People I talk to in the NFL believe Gonzalez is going to test off the charts at the combine,” Kiper wrote.

Oregon’s other five invitees are expected to be selected during the second or third day of the Draft.

Here’s a rundown of what each of each Oregon player’s respective combine schedules will look like in Indianapolis this week, based on their position groups. The full NFL Combine schedule can be found here.

**Oregon’s Christian Gonzalez rises in latest CBS 2023 NFL mock draft**

Former Oregon star Christian Gonzalez continues to be one of the more intriguing prospects ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft.

After transferring in from Colorado during the offseason the third-year sophomore delivered an exceptional debut season with the Ducks and saw his NFL Draft stock skyrocket as a result.

With the 2023 Draft just 59 days away, and the NFL Combine kicking off this week, Gonzalez continues to pop up atop various mock drafts. After being listed as a late first-round pick last week, Gonzalez surged in CBS’s latest mock draft.

Ryan Wilson of CBS predicted on Monday that Gonzalez will be the second cornerback off the board and will go No. 10 overall to the Philadelphia Eagles.

“Gonzalez, a Colorado transfer, is a big-time athlete who is still growing into the position,” Wilson wrote. “He has the size, strength, and speed to line up against NFL wide receivers; he just needs to improve in run support.”
