Oregon lands commitment from 4-star DL Ashton Porter

The Oregon Ducks have bolstered their defensive line room but adding one of the top remaining talents on the board for the 2023 class.
On Tuesday, at halftime of the Under Armour All-American game the Ducks landed a commitment from Cypress (Texas) 4-star defensive lineman Ashton Porter.
Porter chose the Ducks over Northwestern, Michigan State and Texas, among countless other offers.

At 6-foot-2.5, 255 pounds, Porter, is the No. 41 defensive lineman in the class and the No. 303 overall prospect according to the On3 consensus.

He joins a 2023 Oregon class that also includes defensive line commitments from A’mauri Washington, Johnny Bowens, Terrance Green, My’Keil Gardner, Tevita Pome’e, and edge rushers Blake Purchase, Teitum Tuioti, Jaeden Moore.
The Ducks have the No. 9 ranked recruiting class nationally and the top class in the Pac-12 conference.
