The preseason AP Poll was released Monday ahead of the 2023 season, and Oregon is one of five Pac-12 teams that cracked the top-25.

The Ducks landed at No. 15 and received 732 points.

USC (No. 6, 1,245), Washington (No. 10, 977), Utah (No. 14, 811), and Oregon State (No. 18, 406) also made the cut. UCLA received 66 votes, the third-most among teams that did not earn a spot inside the top-25.

Last season, the Ducks went 10-3 and capped off their season with a win over North Carolina in the Holiday Bowl. They ended the year at No. 15 in the final AP Poll.

During its final season in the Pac-12, Oregon is scheduled for 2023 matchups with each of the conference’s top-25 teams. The Ducks will face Washington in Seattle on Oct. 14, Utah in Salt Lake on Oct. 28, USC in Eugene on Nov. 11, and Oregon State in Eugene on Nov. 24.

Oregon overhauled its roster through the transfer portal during the offseason and added 14 scholarship players — most of whom are in contention for starting jobs this fall. The Ducks also secured a 30-player 2023 signing class that was the seventh-best in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

“We have over 50 new guys in our program that really fit what we do,” Oregon coach Dan Lanning said at the program’s media day in July. “I think they’ll create some schematic advantages for us. They create some great matchups for us that we can take advantage of. It’s no secret our theme this offseason has been good to great. And we all know that good is the enemy of great and we’re trying to fight complacency every day, trying to make sure that we never stay satisfied.”

Oregon is set to kick off its 2023 campaign on Sept. 2 against Portland State at Autzen Stadium in Eugene. Kickoff is set for noon PT.
