QUACK: Oregon Lands Three-Star Tight End
It’s almost kickoff but the fireworks have already started for Oregon. The Ducks just landed one of its top offensive targets left in the 2024 class.
Orem (Utah) tight end Roger Saleapaga committed to Oregon moments ago. The 6-foot-4, 210-pounder had remained one of Oregon’s top priorities at the position in 2024. Oregon was able to land him over Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee and Utah.

The Ducks now have two tight end commits in the 2024 class. Saleapaga joins AJ Pugliano, an in-state legacy, in the Ducks recruiting class. Both will be counted on to contribute at Oregon next season.
Prior to his commitment, this is what Saleapaga had told On3’s Chad Simmons about Oregon.
“I love Oregon for one reason; they show that they really want me. Dan Lanning came to my game and it is not often that a head coach goes out to see guys play. They have shown me that I am important to them. Coach Lanning is a great person, he always expresses how much he wants me and that has always made me feel good about them.”
The Ducks remain among the top 10 in the national recruiting rankings. Only Ohio State has a higher ranked class in the B1G than the No. 6 ranked Ducks class currently.
