One of the top priorities on Oregon’s offseason to-do list was retaining its top offensive lineman, T.J. Bass.

The Ducks have officially done that.

Bass announced on Twitter Friday that he will return to Oregon for the 2022 season.

Bass earned first-team all-Pac-12 honors in 2021 while shuffling between left guard and left tackle for the Ducks. It was a breakout season, as he finished the year as Pro Football Focus’s No. 12-graded guard in the nation, and its No. 5 run-blocker.

Oregon could now possibly return five of its top six offensive linemen. George Moore has exhausted his eligibility, but Bass, Alex Forsyth, Steven Jones, and Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu have all said they intend to play at Oregon in 2022.

Ryan Walk has yet to say whether he will return, or enter the NFL Draft.
