Penn State will host another quality offensive line prospect in the Class of 2023 this upcoming week.

On Saturday, Kennesaw Mountain’s football program tweeted that one of its top players, offensive lineman Connor Lew, will be making a trip north in just a few days. According to the tweet, the Georgia native will visit Penn State on Monday, April 4. He’ll also go to Pitt the following day.

Lew only recently earned an offer from Penn State, as position coach Phil Trautwein extended a scholarship back on Feb. 18. That’s notable because it came about two weeks after the Nittany Lion coaching staff added its fourth commitment along the offensive line. Five-star Jven Williams was the last player to make that move on Feb. 5. That followed commitments from Alex Birchmeier, Joshua Miller and Anthony Donkoh.

All four of Penn State’s committed players could end up playing inside, although the hope is that Donkoh will start out at tackle. Lew is also an interior prospect, specifically a center. Penn State hasn’t recruited a true center prospect in recent classes, which makes Lew all the more intriguing.

Lew also has a pretty solid list of offers, as 22 schools have now extended one. Some of the top programs include Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Miami, Pitt, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia. Lew has also been steadily visiting schools since last summer. Auburn has hosted him the most, with Lew visiting four times between June 2021 and March 2022. Georgia has hosted him three times now, while Tennessee has hosted him twice.

According to the previously mentioned tweet, two other schools will also get Lew on campus later in April. Miami will host he and his family April 14, while Vanderbilt will get him on campus two days later, April 16. That will be his second time at both of those schools.

Lew is currently rated a three-star player, according to the On3 Consensus. He sits at No. 671 nationally and is the 62nd-ranked interior offensive lineman.

Just a few weeks ago, Penn State hosted another Georgia offensive line prospect in Nathan Efobi. The Nittany Lions also hosted Michigan native and four-star offensive lineman Amir Herring earlier this week.
