Center Valley (Pa.) Southern Lehigh isn’t typically a hotbed for college football recruiters. But in the Class of 2025 it is home to one of the nation’s most intriguing prospects. Tight end Andrew Olesh has steadily grown from no offers last summer to over 20. His spring visit schedule, which just came together over the weekend, is a busy one.

The 6-foot-5, 209-pound Olesh shared his plans with On3.

“[I’m going] to Ohio State on March 23, Alabama on March 28, Ole Miss on March 30, Florida on April 2, Penn State on April 4 and Miami on April 13,” he said. “We want to get one to Missouri as well, but that date is TBD.”

All except Alabama and Ohio State have offered Olesh to date. Missouri is the latest to come through with an offer, doing so on Feb. 23. Penn State offered Olesh after seeing him on campus for a Junior Day on January 20. Originally after the offer he forecasted a February decision, but he has backed off of those plans to take more visits this spring.

Penn State tight ends coach Ty Howle is on the case for the Nittany Lions and James Franklin took the helicopter to Southern Lehigh earlier this month. The program has turned up the heat since his last time on campus.

“The visit turned out great,” said Olesh. “I got to build tons of relationships with a lot of the coaching staff and other recruits. We did facility tours and got to have position group meetings where I gained some valuable insight into how Penn State utilizes their tight ends in the offense.”

The Nittany Lions lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, but Olesh said that his planned visits will have a say in his upcoming decision.

“As great as Penn State is, I do still want some time to check out other programs and see what is the best fit for me,” he said.

Olesh caught 53 passes for 972 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior in 2023. He was an all-area selection as a junior.
