Weekly Penn State offers roundup: Blue-chip wide receiver, a quarterback and more

The Penn State football offers keep rolling out. In this week’s offers roundup, we highlight a blue-chip 2023 wideout, a quarterback committed to an ACC power and several other intriguing prospects.

Let’s dive right into the Class of 2023.

Dontavius Braswell – 2023 RB

We start this week’s roundup with Dontavius Braswell, who plays for Washington County in Georgia. The running back is 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, and is the No. 12 overall player in his position in the Class of 2023. Ranked as the No. 224 player in the country by On3, Braswell has visited Florida State and Nebraska twice. He’s also taken individual visits to five other schools, including Alabama and Georgia.

Andy Jean – 2023 WR

Another blue-chip prospect offered by Penn State this week is Andy Jean. He plays for Northwestern High School in Miami, and is the No. 110 overall prospect in the 2023 class according to On3 — and the No. 16 wideout. Listed at 6-foot, 175 pounds, he’s visited Florida, Miami, Georgia, Texas A&M and Rutgers. He has an official visit coming to Penn State in June.

Naquil Betrand – 2023 OT

Penn State’s third 2023 offer of the week went out to Naquil Betrand, who plays for Northeast High School in Philly. The offensive tackle is 6-foot-6, 320 pounds, and is a three-star prospect according to the On3 Consensus. He’s currently committed to Colorado.

Penn State Class of 2024 offers this week

Luke Kromenhoek – 2024 QB

Benedictine (Georgia) Military School signal-caller Luke Kromenhoek stands at 6-foot-4, 185 pounds. He’s committed to Florida State, having given the Seminoles his verbal pledge in late March. UCF has also offered, with Clemson expressing interest but withholding an offer for now. Kromenhoek is not yet ranked by On3 or the Consensus.

Elijah Rushing – 2024 EDGE

Elijah Rushing is one of the truly elite EDGE prospects in the Class of 2024. At 6-foot-6, 226 pounds, he’s the No. 8 recruit and the No. 2 EDGE in the Class of 2024 according to On3. Playing his high school football for Salpointe Catholic in Arizona, Rushing has taken two visits to Oregon and Notre Dame. He’s also made the trip to Arizona, Arizona State, USC, Florida and Ohio State.

Khari Reid – 2024 CB

Khari Reid is a 5-foot-10, 165-pound defensive back prospect out of Neumann Goretti in Philly. Unranked as of now, Reid has received offers from Maryland, Boston College and Ole Miss.

Andre Weeks – 2024 OT

Penn State offered Class of 2024 offensive tackle Andre Weeks this week. Weeks plays his high school ball for St. Frances Academy in Baltimore. He’s listed at 6-foot-6, 260 pounds and does not yet have a ranking. He also holds offers from Ole Miss, Kent State and Michigan State.

Jaylan Hornsby – 2024 WR

Jaylan Hornsby plays for Overbook High School in Clementon, New Jersey, and is listed at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds. The Class of 2024 wideout is as of yet unranked, and also holds offers from Temple and UConn in addition to Penn State.

Malachi Toliver – 2024 OT

Malachi Toliver is another sizable tackle prospect offered by Penn State this week. At 6-foot-5, 300 pounds, he plays for Cartersville High School in Georgia. He’s taken unofficial visits to Florida and Florida State, but neither of those programs has offered yet. Michigan, Miami and Louisville are among his current offers.

Brandon Rehmann – 2024 WR

Another in-state offer from the Philly area for Penn State this week is wideout Brandon Rehmann. Rehmann attends St Joseph’s, and weighs in at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds. Pitt, Kentucky, Michigan State and Louisville have also offered.

2025 PSU offers this week

Donovan Johnson – 2025 ATH

Donovan Johnson, out of Calvary Day School in Georgia, is already receiving attention from several big-name programs. The 6-foot, 195-pound athlete has visited Georgia and Florida State twice, as well as South Carolina. Alabama is also expressing interest.

Cam Smith – 2025 RB

We close this week’s Penn State offers roundup with 2025 running back Cam Smith. From Salem, New Jersey, Smith is listed at 6-foot, 190 pounds. He has visited Rutgers and Boston College, and also holds offers from Temple, West Virginia, Syracuse and UConn.
