Since Purdue’s coaches were able to get out on the road to recruit, the Boilermakers dished out over 100 offers, by our tally. Below is a breakdown of which states were hit hardest, as well as a breakdown by class and positionally.
| State | Prospects offered |

Purdue hit Georgia, Florida, and Texas hard during the hectic open window of the high school recruiting calendar. Illinois was also a frequent stop for the Boilermaker staff.
Coaches also ventured out west, offering prospects in California, Colorado, and Utah. Offensive coordinator Josh Henson handled much of that, with his ties to the area stemming from his time at USC.
| Position | Prospects offered |
| Quarterback | 6 |
| Running back | 8 |
| Wide receiver | 17 |
| Tight end | 7 |
| Offensive line | 19 |
| Defensive line/EDGE | 20 |

Barry Odom and Brandon Lee have both spoken about the importance of building up the trenches on both sides of the football, and the positional offers dished out by the staff backed that up over the last month or so.

Purdue in top six for in-state standout:
On Sunday, New Palestine (Ind.) four-star tight end Mason Oglesby told MizzouToday’s Kenny Van Doren that he has zeroed in on six schools in his recruitment. Purdue is among them, along with Indiana, North Carolina, USC, Kansas, and Missouri.
Oglesby is a two-way standout that could play either side of the football in college, but is primarily being recruited at tight end.
Indiana is perceived as the frontrunner, but Purdue has gotten Oglesby on campus a lot during his recruitment and the Boilermakers could look to swoop the New Palestine product out from under the Hoosiers. Now, that’s not the likely scenario, but one still on the table.
