Temple LB transfer Kobe Wilson commits to SMU

Temple linebacker transfer Kobe Wilson committed to SMU on Sunday, he announced on Twitter. He’ll have two years of eligibility remaining when he joins the Mustangs this summer.
In 2022, he made 64 total tackles, 38 of which were solo, 5.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, made two pass breakups, one forced fumble and grabbed two fumble recoveries. In 2021, he also played in all 12 games, making 51 total stops, four tackles for loss, one sack and a forced fumble.

In 2020, he broke out as a true freshman to play in five games, making 13 total tackles, two tackles for loss, two pass breakups and a forced fumble.
Wilson joins Miami offensive lineman Jakai Clark, Texas offensive lineman Logan Parr, Texas A&M transfers PJ Williams and LJ Johnson, Liberty transfers Chris Megginson and Ahmad Walker, Fresno State transfer defensive back Cale Sanders, Missouri transfer offensive lineman Hyrin White, Miami transfers Key’Shawn Smith, Jordan Miller, Elijah Roberts, Jaylan Knighton and Romello Brinson, Iowa quarterback transfer Alex Padilla, West Virginia transfer defensive back Charles Woods and Stanford defensive back Jonathan McGill as transfer additions for SMU.
