Parker Livingstone (Will Gallagher/Inside Texas)

The Texas offense cruised to 472 yards at 7.3 yards per play against a mid tier Group of Five defense starting a brand new secondary with a front line that was 44 pounds lighter per man and multiple 200-210 pound linebackers. The main culprits preventing a 50 point blowout were penalties (12-115), a slow start, the OL's inability to assert itself consistently, a lack of explosives outside of Livingstone, and executional errors.
