For 2027 Chandler (Ariz.) Basha offensive tackle Jake Hildebrand, his recruiting stock continues to rise.

Rivals’ No. 10 offensive tackle was offered by Kyle Flood and the Horns earlier this year. Since then, Flood has been keeping close tabs on the Arizona native.

“What stands out is the winning aspect of Texas,” Hildebrand told Inside Texas. “They are very high on my radar. The relationship with coach Flood has been progressing greatly. I see he had a lot of interest in me but also I have a lot in Texas as well.”

Any chance he hits Austin this fall?

“I’m trying to see when it’s going to work best for me and my family to get out there,” said Hildebrand.

He already has a full schedule for the next three months. He’ll be at Texas A&M-Auburn on September 27th, then hits to Oregon-Indiana on October 11th.

Next up will be Miami-Stanford on October 25th, Tennessee-Oklahoma on November 1, Alabama-LSU on November 8, and Ohio State-UCLA game on November 15. The Texas-Texas A&M on Nov. 22 is a possibility.

Texas has eyes on a number of in-state offensive tackles including five-star Kennedy Brown, four-star Kaeden Scott, and four-star Ismael Camara. But Flood always looks coast to coast for O-line prospects. Hildebrand is the No. 68 overall prospect, No. 10 offensive tackle, and No. 2 talent in Arizona for the Class of 2027, according to the Rivals Recruiting Rankings.
