Arch Manning enters the game for Quinn Ewers versus Georgia

After Quinn Ewers started 6-of-12 for 17 yards with an interception and a sack-fumble, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian elected to replace him with Arch Manning when the Longhorns trailed 20-0 with 4:43 left in the first half.

Ewers, who has been the Longhorns’ starter since 2022, was removed from the game after an ineffective start. He had returned from injury against Oklahoma and was 20-for-29 for 199 yards, a touchdown, an interception, and a rushing touchdown.

Manning played in Ewers’ place for multiple games this season. He was 55-for-78 for 901 yards and nine touchdowns, plus three rushing touchdowns.
