Ewers, who has been the Longhorns’ starter since 2022, was removed from the game after an ineffective start. He had returned from injury against Oklahoma and was 20-for-29 for 199 yards, a touchdown, an interception, and a rushing touchdown.

Manning played in Ewers’ place for multiple games this season. He was 55-for-78 for 901 yards and nine touchdowns, plus three rushing touchdowns.

Texas trails 20-0 against Georgia at the two-minute timeout.
