Celebrate the start of the 2025 season with Inside Texas Happy Hours in Houston, Dallas, and Austin

Inside Texas will be hosting three happy hours the week of Texas’ first game of the season. As the Longhorns prepare to kick off against Ohio State in Columbus on August 30, Inside Texas will meet with IT community members and Texas fans on August 26, 27, and 28.
The first stop will be with our friends at Big City Wings. There will be a trivia contest with prizes, food, and a bar tab. We’ll also be gathering to watch the Astros take on the Colorado Rockies.

Trivia will be hosted by LC from our YouTube channel, Inside Texas Football, and we’ll also be joined by The Girl Herd.
On Wednesday we’ll make our way to an Inside Texas favorite, Katy Trail Icehouse. While there won’t be trivia for this happy hour, there will be plenty of food and drinks. Dallas typically represents better than any other city whenever IT takes to the road. (The 2014 happy hour will never be topped!).

Dallas will be followed by the logical ending point—Austin. Trivia and prizes are back on the docket for the third and final stop—Little Woodrow’s Burnet location. Home to all different styles of trivia, this one will have a burnt orange flavor. Woodrow’s doesn’t have its own kitchen, but there are plenty of food options, including three within a stone’s throw.

By this time the game will be less than 48 hours away so we’ll have to pace ourselves…
You don’t have to be an Inside Texas member to attend. We love to meet new people, especially in a more private setting. If you’ve had a question that’s been bothering you and might be too sensitive to answer on the internet, come ask in person.
This season promises to be one we remember for a long time. Let’s kick things off right.
