Colin Simmons named a second team All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation
Texas EDGE Colin Simmons was named a second-team All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, the WCFF announced on Friday.
Simmons was a constant threat to opposing offenses in 2025. He logged 41 tackles with 13.5 for loss and 11.0 sacks in 2025. He also had two passes defended, a fumble recovery, and three forced fumbles. He was recently named a first-team All-SEC selection.
Simmons was named the 2024 Shawn Alexander Freshman of the Year and also earned Freshman All-America honors for his exploits last season.
Simmons was the only Longhorn picked to either team.
