GIF Analysis: Longhorn true freshmen stand out versus Rice

After a disappointing performance against Arkansas, the visiting Rice Owls felt the frustration of the Texas Longhorns on both sides of the ball. The run game pummeled the Owl defense early and often, and true Xavier Worthy added a touchdown reception for good measure to close out the first half. After two drives in the third quarter, the backups and other players further down the depth chart made their way into the game. Several members of Texas' 2021 class saw the field and were able to receive valuable experience in a real college football game.
