Littleton, a true freshman from Tampa (Fla.) Wiregrass Ranch, played in all 12 games and started seven for the Longhorns. A mainstay at Star, or nickel, Littleton accumulated 41 tackles with 4.0 for loss plus two interceptions, five passes defended, and two forced fumbles.

Littleton was ranked as the No. 68 overall prospect, the No. 9 cornerback, and the No. 11 player in Florida in the 2025 Rivals Industry Ranking. On3 ranked Littleton as the No. 49 overall prospect, the No. 6 cornerback, and the No. 6 player in Florida. Though Littleton was named a Midseason True Freshman All-American by On3 in October, he did not earn the end-of-season nod.

He was also not named to either of DCTF’s two All-Texas College teams. Michael Taaffe was a first-team defender at the safety position while Colin Simmons earned a first-team nod at the utility spot.

O-lineman Trevor Goosby, defensive tackle Hero Kanu, linebacker Anthony Hill, and cornerback Malik Muhammad earned second-team selections.

Dave Campbell’s Texas Football utilized players from the 13 FBS programs in the state of Texas to make the team. North Texas quarterback Drew Mestemaker was offensive player of the year while Texas Tech linebacker Jacob Rodriguez was the defensive player of the year. Offensive freshman of the year honors went to North Texas running back Caleb Hawkins. Texas Tech’s Joey McGuire and Texas A&M’s Mike Elko shared the coach of the year distinction.

On Tuesday, Simmons, Taaffe, and Goosby were first-team All-SEC selections according to the league’s coaches. Hill, Muhammad, Ryan Wingo, and Ryan Niblett were second-team All-SEC selections. DJ Campbell was named to the All-SEC third team.

The No. 13 Texas Longhorns are scheduled to face No. 18 Michigan on December 31 in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla.
