Handful of players not expected to dress for No. 7 Texas vs San Jose State today

The No. 7 Texas Longhorns will be missing a few key players today when they host the San Jose State Spartans from Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
Texas DT Alex January, RB Tre Wisner, RB Rickey Stewart Jr, WR Colin Page, OL Issiah Coleman, and WR Emmett Mosley are not expected to dress for today’s contest, sources tell Inside Texas.
January, Stewart, and Mosley have been limited in practice this week.
January has been pivotal in the starting role at defensive tackle. The former Duncanville (Texas) three-star and Texas legacy was the No. 433 overall prospect, No. 40 defensive lineman, and No. 67 talent in Texas for the Class of 2023, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.
Former Waco Connally and Desoto product, Wisner, is in street clothes and will not play today.
Stewart enrolled early after a stellar career at Tyler (Texas) Chapel Hill.
He was the No. 462 overall prospect, No. 40 running back, and No. 62 player in Texas for the Class of 2025, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking.

Mosley joined the Horns this summer after one season at Palo Alto. The Stanford transfer was the 598th overall prospect, No. 84 wide receiver, and No. 41 player in California for the Class of 2024, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.
