Against the No. 4 team in the country, the Texas Longhorn defense did its job. However, the offense failed to hold up its end of the bargain against the Horned Frogs, tallying just three points as part of a 17-10 loss.

Bijan Robinson was held in check all night, rushing for only 29 yards. The Longhorn defense accumulated 14 TFLs and 5.0 sacks but a 75-yard Kendre Miller run and a 31-yard Quentin Johnston touchdown reception on a busted coverage were all the scoring the Frogs needed during their Big 12 title game appearance clinching victory.
Quinn Ewers was not sharp at all, going 17-for-39 for 171 yards and one interception.
The only touchdown for the Longhorns came on a Jahdae Barron scoop and score late in the game.
