The Georgia defense dominated the Texas offense in October, but rematches allow for adjustments, new strategies, and more. One of those new strategies is the deployment of Quintrevion Wisner. Texas has improved in outside zone and Wisner has been the beneficiary of that. Rushing versus Georgia is a challenge, but it could pay off in making sure the Bulldog D-line can’t just attack, attack, attack.
Quinn Ewers was miserable against Georgia, and after a game or two of struggles, the Longhorns quarterback has looked closer to the Michigan version of himself than the one that struggled against Kirby Smart’s crew. It’s not all on Ewers, as Boyd and Wadlington look at the O-line the receivers, and the schemes.

It still does come down to Ewers’ ability, however, and Ewers’ ability to move up and navigate the pocket is key. Seven times was Ewers sacked, and the O-line was only responsible for two of them.
