Discussion begins talking about the challenges and considerations when recruiting two-way athletes like Ja’Tavion Sanders and Nick Townsend. Cook and Williams talk about how coaches debate whether these players should play offense or defense based on team needs and player skills.

Insights are provided into how players are evaluated and assigned to positions. Example given is Greg Burrell, who played both linebacker and running back in high school but stayed on offense at UNLV. The two mention the intense discussions between offensive and defensive staff about player assignments, likening it to a courtroom battle.

The two go over two cases of this example in the 2025 class with Townsend and Michael Terry, where they fit on each side of the ball, and Texas’ standing with each.

The duo continues with a review of Texas’ current wide receiver targets after Dakorien Moore chose Oregon, looking at Jaime Ffrench, Kaliq Lockett, Kelshaun Johnson, Tanook Hines, and Daylan McCutcheon, ending the show that way.
