Jaray Bledsoe to enter the transfer portal

Texas defensive tackle Jaray Bledsoe plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, the A&P Sports Agency tells Inside Texas. Bledsoe has 7 career tackles and one tackle for loss across his three seasons with the Texas Longhorns. Pete Thamel was first to report.

Bledsoe has played in three games this year, recording two tackles in contests versus Colorado State, UTSA, and ULM. He appeared in eight games in 2023, tallying four tackles and one tackle for loss along with a fumble recovery.

He had one tackle in 2022.

A member of Texas’ class of 2022 out of Marlin High School, Bledsoe was the No. 144 overall prospect, the No. 19 defensive lineman, and the No. 23 player in Texas in the 2022 On3 Industry Ranking. On3 ranked Bledsoe as the No. 80 overall prospect, the No. 10 defensive lineman, and the No. 17 player in Texas. He chose the Longhorns over Texas A&M.
