Longhorns are everywhere in the NFL.

Sundays (and Thursdays, Fridays, and Mondays) give Texas fans an extension of their fandom, with plenty of chances to cheer on alumni now wearing professional jerseys. Here’s another edition of Longhorn Sunday.

Quinn’s Debut

It doesn’t seem like Quinn Ewers and Mike McDaniel will get to know one another very well. The former Texas quarterback made his debut in the pros yesterday with the Dolphins getting pounded by the Cleveland Browns. Ewers was only named QB2 behind Tua Tagovailoa on Saturday, yet was immediately thrust into action. He still made chicken salad in limited action during a blowout. Quinn finished 5/8 for 53 yards through the air.

Ewers also stood in the pocket and completed a long pass to Dee Eskridge while taking a hit. It was great to see the Longhorn great making the best out of a terrible situation. McDaniel, meanwhile looked like a strung out X-Games attendee and his days in the NFL are numbered. How is this guy an NFL coach? I can’t imagine him ever motivating a professional athlete. I become actively uninspired just by looking at him.

Bijan Robinson Scores (again)

How does this dude constantly find the tiniest slivers of daylight to sneak through? I miss him so freaking much. Sadly, it was a quieter night for Robinson as his Falcons fell to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football.
