Malik Agbo enters the transfer portal

Texas O-lineman Malik Agbo has entered the NCAA transfer portal, per On3’s Pete Nakos. Agbo, who was entering his junior year, appeared in 32 games while on the 40 Acres.

Agbo was a reserve O-lineman for most of his three seasons but saw playing time as a tight end when Texas looked to bolster the run game in 2023. He played in all 14 games and helped Jonathon Brooks and CJ Baxter to strong 2023 seasons. He even caught a pass in the Sugar Bowl versus Washington.

In 2024, Agbo played in 16 games with most of his contributions on special teams.

Agbo was part of a 2022 class that featured DJ Campbell, Kelvin Banks, Neto Umeozulu, Cameron Williams, Cole Hutson, and Connor Robertson.

Agbo is the third scholarship player to enter the portal in the spring window for the Texas Longhorns, joining wide receiver Freddie Dubose and kicker Bert Auburn.
