Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian leads the team onto the field as the Texas Longhorns prepare to play the Clemson Tigers in the first round of the College Football Playoffs at Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas, Dec. 21, 2024.

EA Sports College Football 26 is here — and this year, your gameplay means more than just virtual trophies. With the introduction of the all-new Dynasty Challenge, schools now earn real-world royalties based on how often their teams are used in Dynasty Mode and Road to Glory.

That means every time you pick the Texas Longhorns, you’re not just chasing a National Championship — you’re helping the University of Texas earn money that goes right back into the athletic department. Every season you rebuild, every Heisman run you launch, and every rivalry game you win makes a difference.

So squad up and do your part. Fire up the Xbox, PlayStation, create your squad, and make sure that burnt orange is front and center. Whether you’re locking down five-star recruits in Dynasty Mode or becoming a legend in Road to Glory, do it as Texas. The more the Longhorns are played, the more the program earns.

Even cooler — some universities are taking this to the next level. Schools are offering fans and gamers a chance to win exclusive team gear and prizes just for playing. In some cases, if you start a Dynasty with a school, win a National Championship, and register your win online, you’re automatically entered for a chance to score merch, swag, or other rewards. That’s a win-win for the fans and the programs.
