Georgia defeated Texas, 30-15, when they faced off in Austin in October. Texas leads the all-time series, 4-2. The most recent win for Texas was the 2019 Sugar Bowl when the Horns toppled Georgia, 28-21, in New Orleans.
There’s not only an SEC crown on the line Saturday as the winner will also earn a top-four seed in the 2024 College Football Playoff. The top-four seeds will also receive a first-round bye at the CFP. The Horns are vying back-to-back CFP appearances after being tabbed the No. 3 overall seed in 2023 and appearing in the CFP semifinals at the Allstate Sugar Bowl.
