Every week on the Inside Texas Members Only board, DuvalHorn puts together the weekly viewing options for the upcoming weekend’s college football slate. Sometimes it is on the board as early as Tuesday thanks to MACtion and Fun Belt games. But no matter what, the weekly TV schedule lets us know what’s coming during the weekend.

Here’s what’s on tap for week five, with DuvalHorn’s own thoughts on the game.

Come talk about the games on Inside Texas!

As always, Central Time for the kickoffs.

Friday

Florida State at Virginia (6 PM, ESPN) – ‘Noles can’t be caught looking ahead to a showdown with Miami next week.

TCU at Arizona State (8 PM, Fox) – TCU looks to make a case as the second-best team in the Big 12 right now.

Houston at Oregon State (9:30 PM, ESPN) – There’s a joke to be made about Cougars and Beavers on a Friday night…

Saturday

USC at Illinois (11 AM, Fox) – USC’s gradual ascent up the Big Ten difficulty ladder continues.

Duke at Syracuse (11 AM, ACCN) – Coming off a huge win, how much does Syracuse have post-Angeli?

Notre Dame at Arkansas (11 AM, ABC) – A win by the Domers here just about puts the nail in the coffin for Sam Pittman.

LSU at Ole Miss (2:30 PM, ABC) – Last year’s game was an instant classic. Does it even matter who Ole Miss starts at QB?

Indiana at Iowa (2:30 PM, Peacock) – Can the Hawkeyes slow down Mendoza and company, or has Indiana ascended to a level where they can blow out the midlevel Big Ten teams?

Ohio State at Washington (2:30 PM, CBS) – Demond Williams gets his chance on the big stage.

Auburn at Texas A&M (2:30 PM, ESPN) – Tough spot for Auburn coming off last week’s frustrating loss. They’ll need to find a way to make Marcel Reed complete passes consistently and not just throw bombs past their secondary.

Tennessee at Mississippi State (3:15 PM, SECN) – Don’t think the Bulldogs are going under the radar as much this year.

Arizona at Iowa State (6 PM, ESPN) – Arizona is 3-0 but has hardly played anyone. Win in Ames and maybe the Big 12 has another sleeper.

Oregon at Penn State (6:30 PM, NBC) – Penn State finally gets their primetime Whiteout game back. Now can they get a big-time win?

Alabama at Georgia (6:30 PM, ABC) – Hard to imagine this one living up to last year’s edition, but if we get post-Week 1 Alabama and last week’s Georgia, this could be a doozy.

BYU at Colorado (9:15 AM, ESPN) – Salter showed signs of life last week against Wyoming, but BYU’s defense could snuff it right back out.
