Other college football games of note in week four
Every week on the Inside Texas Members Only board, DuvalHorn puts together the weekly viewing options for the upcoming weekend’s college football slate. Sometimes it is on the board as early as Tuesday thanks to MACtion and Fun Belt games. But no matter what, the weekly TV schedule lets us know what’s coming during the weekend.

Come talk about the games on Inside Texas!
As always, Central Time for the kickoffs.
Friday
Tulsa at Oklahoma State (6:30 PM, ESPN) – Has the countdown for Mike Gundy finally started?
Iowa at Rutgers (7 PM, Fox) – The type of Friday night game that might put you to sleep early.
Saturday
Texas Tech at Utah (11 AM, Fox) – Early game of the year candidate in the Big 12.
Iron Skillet: SMU at TCU (11 AM, ESPN2) – The final edition of this battle for the foreseeable future.
Arkansas at Memphis (11 AM, ABC) – Arkansas has been game so far, but this schedule is doing Sam Pittman no favors.
Civil War: Oregon State at Oregon (2 PM, BTN) – Only adding this game for the rivalry and historical nature. I don’t expect a competitive matchup.
UNC at UCF (2:30 PM, Fox) – Scott Frost vs. Bill Belichick would be a much-anticipated coaching matchup if it were 2017.
Auburn at Oklahoma (2:30 PM, ABC) – Maybe playing for a team not wearing crimson and cream will improve Jackson Arnold’s historical accuracy in Norman.
Tulane at Ole Miss (2:30 PM, ESPN) – USF still has the inside track for a G5 CFP spot, but Tulane is lurking right behind.

Michigan at Nebraska (2:30 PM, CBS) – Now, we start to find out if the Matt Rhule Year 3 leap lives on.
Apple Cup: Washington at Washington State (6:30 PM, CBS) – Given where both programs are right now (particularly Wazzu), it’s perhaps easy to forget that the Cougs actually won this game last year.
Florida at Miami (FL) (6:30 PM, ABC) – If the Hurricanes have truly turned the corner, they’ll step on the throat this week.
Illinois at Indiana (6:30 PM, NBC) – A ranked-ranked matchup of these two teams? Are we sure it’s not basketball season?
Sam Houston at Texas (7 PM, SECN+)
Cal at San Diego State (9:30 PM, CBSSN) – Cal might have themselves a QB.
Michigan State at USC (10 PM, Fox) – Not sure if this is the game where the degree to which USC’s defense improved reveals itself, but it’s coming soon. Aidan Chiles makes his homecoming.
