Fans nominate standout players in November, with a ballot that can feature up to 300 names. Communities then vote at texasfootball.com/whataburgersuperteam, narrowing the field to the top 40 honorees. Those final winners will be announced in January 2026.
Former Longhorns like Jordan Whittington, Caden Sterns, Davion Curtis, and Ta’Quon Graham were once not only nominated, but also named as official honorees. This year, Texas’ 2026 class looks to continue that tradition.
