Sources: Quinn Ewers expected to miss several games

Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers is expected to miss several games with a shoulder injury to his non-throwing shoulder, sources told Inside Texas. ESPN was first to report. Ewers was injured late in the first quarter of Saturday’s game with the Alabama Crimson Tide when Dallas Turner drove the Longhorn quarterback into the ground after a throwaway.
Turner was penalized for the play. Hudson Card was forced into action. Ewers entered the locker room before halftime with a towel draped over his head, and he did not return to the field until after the rest of the team had left the locker room. He was wearing street clothes and had a sling on his arm
