“(Anthony Hill) and (Ryan Wingo), we’re just making sure that they’re going to be okay,” Sarkisian said. “I’m not ready to make that diagnosis on where they’re going to be yet, but feel optimistic about it.”
Wingo played 47 snaps on Saturday at Georgia after leaving the Longhorns’ game with Vanderbilt due to a thumb injury. Wingo did not show any signs of injury recurrence during the game versus the Bulldogs, but he did have multiple drops. Wingo had nine receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown in Athens. This season, Wingo has 40 catches for 655 yards and six touchdown receptions. All those figures lead the team.
Hill was on the field for 62 defensive snaps at Georgia. He also did not show signs of an obvious injury. Hill had six tackles with 0.5 for loss, plus one interception. This season, he has 69 tackles with 7.0 for loss, 4.0 sacks, two interceptions, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
