Livingstone was hit hard after hauling in a pass from Manning in the second quarter. Devon Moore hit Livingstone in the right leg, making hard contact just outside the 10 yard line.

That was Livingstone’s second and final reception. He did go to the bench and eventually the locker room after the play. He would return and did play a few second half snaps before other receivers rotated in after his effectiveness was obviously limited when compared to his teammates. He finished with two receptions on four targets for 47 yards.

“Parker, X-rays and everything were negative,” Sarkisian said. “He got hit in the lower leg and just couldn’t quite return, but I don’t think it’s anything serious.”

With Manning, who made a brief appearance in the injury tent and had to leave the game for one play late in the fourth quarter after losing his helmet, Sarkisian described his injury as a “stinger” without any further elaboration. He did put some praise on his signal-caller.

“That’s why he went to the tent and came back out,” Sarkisian said. “He did take some hits. I thought Arch competed today. He battled his butt off. The interception there that their safety makes over the top is a heck of a play. I’m sure there’s going to be plays he’s going to look at on the film and wish he could have back and where we could have had more. I thought he battled and competed.”

Manning was 16-for-29 for 263 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. He also rushed 15 times for 37 yards with a long of 36. Manning was sacked six times for a loss of 37 yards.
