The Longhorns will face the Houston Christian Huskies before a potential matchup against either the UTSA Road Runners or the Kansas State Wildcats. All three of these teams are familiar with UFCU-Disch Falk Field, as UTSA and HCU each played at Texas this season, with Kansas State formerly sharing a conference with the Longhorns.

Texas’ potential Super Regional matchup would come against the winner of the Los Angeles Regional. No. 15 UCLA hosts, with UC Irvine, Arizona State and Fresno State all gunning for a chance at Omaha.

Texas’ pitching stands out as the biggest positive factor of any team in its regional, though the hitting of UTSA and individual firepower of some of the Kansas State bats will make for an interesting matchup.

Texas’ side of the bracket features another six SEC teams, with familiar foes like Georgia, Ole Miss, LSU, Arkansas and Tennessee potentially matching up with the Longhorns if they were to get to Omaha.

Jason highlights Max Belyeu and Ruger Riojas as two of the most important players for the Longhorns heading into the regional.

The panel puts in their predictions for the Texas Baseball postseason.
