Ohio State remained No. 1 with 57 first-place votes, Indiana remained No. 2 with 8 first-place votes and Texas A&M got a singular first-place vote at No. 3.

Texas was jumped by rival Oklahoma, which went from No. 11 to No. 8 with a win at Alabama. BYU, Vanderbilt, Utah, Miami, Georgia Tech and USC also jumped above the Longhorns, with each team winning over the weekend (outside of Vanderbilt, which was on bye).

Ole Miss and Alabama also find themselves in the top 10 out of the SEC, with the Rebels moving up one spot to No. 5. The Crimson Tide fell all the way to No. 10, where Texas was located last week, after the loss to the Sooners.

The Top 25 includes five SEC teams in the top 10, as well as Vanderbilt and Texas in the teens. Tennessee and Missouri also find themselves ranked, sitting at No. 20 and No. 23, respectively.

Texas was ranked as the No. 18 team in the coaches’ poll.
