Texas hosts four-star EDGE from Florida for unofficial visit

The Longhorns are looking far and wide for EDGE talent, and that search continues in Florida. 2026 Pensacola (Fla.) Pensacola Catholic EDGE Trenton Henderson dropped in Wednesday to visit the Forty Acres.

Henderson has been a target for a number of teams in the southeast and around the nation including Michigan, Auburn, and USC. Yet again, LaAllan Clark deserves credit for this one as he went to Pensacola in May to check in with Henderson.

Texas was listed in his top 10 earlier this year, but he’s now finally made a long-awaited trip to the Forty Acres.

According to On3’s Keegan Pope, Henderson racked up 50 tackles, including 18 TFLs, 20 hurries, 10 sacks and six pass breakups. The Crusaders won eight games in 2024 and were among the best at the 2A level in Florida.

Henderson is ranked as the No. 59 overall prospect, the No. 11 EDGE, and the No. 10 player in Florida in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking. On3 ranks Henderson as the No. 77 overall prospect, the No. 12 EDGE, and the No. 7 player in Florida.
