Texas lands Georgia State’s Kaleb Freeman in the portal
Kaleb Freeman from Georgia State has just committed to the Longhorns. He hit .349 Avg / .732 SLG / 1.236 OPS, picking up a Georgia State record of 28 doubles and 16 home runs. He was at Auburn and St. Johns River State prior to playing at Georgia State, and the talented switch hitter has a background playing infield and catcher.

His advanced statistics are off the chart in terms of his ability to not chase pitches outside of the zone, something that is much needed after a strikeout -laden season for the Longhorns.
