Texas Longhorns basketball has first workout in the Moody Center

The Texas Longhorns men’s basketball team took the court for a first workout in the newly opened Moody Center on Tuesday.

Chris Beard and staff enter season two in Austin with a team that will be ranked in the top 15 of the preseason polls following a first season that ended in the Round of 32.
The Longhorns welcome six new scholarship players to go with five returnees. Texas has three guards on the roster that started at point guard of NCAA Tournament Round of 32 or better teams headlined by transfer point guard Tyrese Hunter.
