Texas OF Tommy Farmer enters the transfer portal
Texas outfielder Tommy Farmer IV has entered the transfer portal, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.

Farmer, a sophomore from Santa Monica (Calif.) Oaks Christian, played in 58 games during the 2025 season with 48 starts. He hit .249 and had an on-base percentage of .371. He slugged .339 and had one home run to go along with 13 doubles and 25 RBI.
Farmer saw significant time as a corner outfielder, playing mostly left until Max Belyeu was injured versus Missouri. Farmer took over in right as a rotating door spun in left. As the season went on, he eventually ceded time to Jonah Williams and the returning Belyeu.
In 2024, Farmer hit .200 in 16 games with three starts.
