Texas ranked No. 10 in AP poll following bye

Texas was ranked No. 10 in the Associated Press poll on Sunday after enjoying an off week during the bye. Texas was previously ranked No. 13 in the AP poll.

Upcoming opponent Georgia was ranked No. 5.

Other SEC teams in the top 25 included No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 4 Alabama, No. 6 Ole Miss, No. 11 Oklahoma, No. 13 Vanderbilt, and No. 21 Tennessee.

Texas was ranked No. 10 in the US LBM Coaches Poll.

SEC teams in the top 25 of the US LBM Coaches Poll included No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 4 Alabama, No. 5 Georgia, No. 7 Ole Miss, No. 11 Oklahoma, No. 14 Vanderbilt, No. 20 Tennessee, and No. 24 Missouri. One school from Texas’ schedule, Ohio State, was ranked No. 1.

The Longhorns will battle the Georgia Bulldogs this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. The game will be in Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga. and will mark the Longhorns’ first ever trip between the hedges. ABC will televise the contest
