Connor, Cord and Evan take a deep dive into Texas’ big win against Mississippi State the night before, talking about their takes after getting a chance to rewatch the game.
Arch Manning impressed, with the quarterback spearheading a major comeback from down 17 points in the fourth quarter while dealing with drops and struggles in pass blocking.
Emmett Mosley is keyed in on as a top target for the Longhorns, showing phenomenal route-running and hands on both of his touchdowns. Ryan Wingo was also discussed as a receiver. He was a big asset for Texas after the catch in the game, but struggled with drops. The hosts agreed that Wingo is a fantastic option as a No. 2 pass catcher.
The Longhorn offensive line continued to struggle, but it was a better game at left guard and center with Connor Stroh and Connor Robertson improving their play from weeks past.

Texas’ defense struggled, getting exposed on in-breaking routes in Cover 3 and struggling to effectively stop the run. Many players missed key tackles, and the hosts lament on the idea that this might not be an elite defense. Still, Texas saw a strong game from Anthony Hill and the rest of the pass rushers.
Ryan Niblett was noted as the MVP of the team once again, having returned yet another punt for a touchdown. He has been a key factor for Texas over the last three games.
