The Texas offense once again failed. They failed to protect the quarterback, failed to produce a run game, and relied on big plays to keep the game close. Here’s the offensive grades following the 29-21 loss to UF from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Saturday.

OFFENSE

QB – Arch Manning59.7

Manning had his ups and downs on Saturday, but finished with decent numbers. He was 16-of-29, 263 yards passing, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. He also added 74 yards rushing on the day.

RB – Tre Wisner, 62.2, Christian Clark, 60.7

The Texas rushing attack was nonexistent. Manning led the charge with 74 yards, but the tailbacks combined for 17 yards rushing on 11 carries. When the offensive line is nonexistent, so is the run game.

WR – Parker Livingstone74.6, Ryan Wingo59.3, DeAndre Moore72.1

The Texas receiving core was solid on Saturday. When Manning had time, the wideouts made plays. Wingo led the team with 73 yards receiving and one score on four catches. Moore notched 75 yards on three grabs, and Livingstone and Mosley combined for 87 yards on four receptions.

TE – Jack Endries60.4, Jordan Washington51.1

The tight ends were less productive than the running backs. Endries had two yards receiving on two catches. End of stats.

OL – Trevor Goosby61.7, DJ Campbell68.9, Brandon Baker, 55.9, Connor Stroh58.3, Cole Hutson, 60.8

The Longhorns offensive line didn’t have the best outing. Manning was hit over a dozen times, the run game didn’t work, and the penalties continue to hurt them as an offensive unit. Nick Brooks had a 30.3 grade on 44 snaps.
