Top PFF offensive grades from Texas' 55-0 win over Sam Houston State

The offensive explosion the Horns fans have been waiting for appeared on Saturday night after UT’s 55-0 win over Sam Houston State from Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. Here’s the offensive PFF grades.

OFFENSE

QB – Arch Manning92.3

Manning got comfortable and the rest was history. After hitting a few early passes, Sark pulled the governor off and Manning thrived. He went 18-of-21, 309 yards passing, three touchdowns, plus two rushing scores.

RB – James Simon61.7 Christian Clark, 69.2, Jerrick Gibson, 67.8

The Texas rushing attack tallied 264 yards at 6.4 yards per carry. It was a group outing, with Clark and Gibson combing for 115 yards and two rushing scores. Simon added 50 yards on nine carries.

WR – Parker Livingstone58.3, Ryan Wingo81.7, DeAndre Moore, 89.8

Once Manning started hitting his guys, the offense opened right up, with Wingo leading the charge with 93 yards receiving and two touchdowns on four grabs. Moore added 79 yards on five catches, while Livingstone went for three receptions, 34 yards in the air.

TE – Jack Endries60.3, Jordan Washington69.3

Mr. Washington went to the end zone for the first time on Saturday.

The Longhorns offensive line was superb on Saturday, protecting Manning and Matthew Caldwell. This group helped the offense with 607 total yards. Lots of depth was seen yesterday, with Nick Brooks (71.2%) and Nate Kibble (56.7%)
