Tracking Texas' June 7-9 visitors on social media

Several of the six official visitors who are seeing the Texas Longhorns this week have taken to social media to show that they’ve arrived on the 40 Acres and are ready to see everything Steve Sarkisian‘s program has to offer.

As some of the prospects making their way to Texas get into Austin, we’ll track some of their postings on social media. Kaleb Edwards, who is not very active on social media, is the only one who has yet to post he’s in Austin.

Josiah Sharma, DT, Folsom (Calif.)

Sharma is in Austin this weekend. He has one OV planned to Alabama remaining after seeing Washington a few weeks ago.

Sharma is ranked as the No. 249 overall prospect, the No. 19 defensive lineman, and the No. 24 player in California according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. On3 ranks Sharma as the No. 83 overall prospect, the No. 7 defensive lineman, and the No. 5 player in California.

Myron Charles, DL, Port Charlotte (Fla.)

Charles has seen Florida and has remaining trips to Florida State and Miami ahead of him in the month of June.

Charles is ranked as the No. 127 overall prospect, the No. 9 defensive lineman, and the No. 19 player in Florida in the On3 Industry Ranking. On3 ranks Charles as the No. 58 overall prospect, the No. 4 defensive lineman, and the No. 8 player in Florida.

Javion Hilson, EDGE, Cocoa (Fla.) – Florida State commit

Hilson is seeing Texas after visiting Florida last week and with trips to UCF and Florida State on the docket. He’s the On3 Industry Ranking’s No. 40 overall prospect.

Caleb Chester, CB, Missouri City (Texas) Fort Bend Marshall

Chester checked in today. He has trips to Arkansas and Texas A&M upcoming.

Chester is ranked as the No. 692 overall prospect, the No. 67 cornerback, and the No. 108 player in Texas in the On3 Industry Ranking.

On3 ranks Chester as the No. 41 overall prospect and the No. 83 player in Texas.

Michael Terry III, ATH, San Antonio (Texas) Alamo Heights

Terry trips to Texas this weekend after he took in Nebraska in April.

Terry is the On3 Industry Ranking’s No. 21 overall player, No. 1 athlete, and No. 7 prospect in Texas.
