Tre Johnson could be the highest ranked guard to pick Texas

The Texas Longhorns are awaiting the decision of five-star guard Tre Johnson with the early signing period window closing November 15.

The 6-foot-5 scoring guard that can also initiate offense has a decision between the Longhorns and Baylor Bears with a choice possible by the end of the early signing period.
For Rodney Terry and staff, a win over Baylor would be truly significant for the program.
If Johnson were to pick Texas, he would immediately become the highest ranked guard to pick the Longhorns since Avery Bradley. Johnson and Bradley are/were both ranked No. 4 overall in their respective classes.
