Tuesday Texas Q&A goes heavy on recruiting with big decisions looming

We started this week’s Q&A off with a note on five-star tight end Kaiden Prothro. Georgia has long been considered the favor but Texas isn’t waving the white flag yet.

Does Texas even need an elite tight end in this cycle? That subject was also broached.

With his decision coming later tonight, elite linebacker Brayden Rouse was also discussed. He might be the best linebacker in the country, though his rating doesn’t back that up. Tennessee is the favorite going into the 7:00 CST announcement but Texas has been hard-charging in recent months. Do the Horns have a chance? Linebacker is a big position of need in the class. That almost always plays a factor.

Team questions were asked, of course. Who are some unsung players who could make noise? Who will the Top 5 receivers be in order? What about the Top 4 running backs? What was Sark’s best (vs Alabama in 2022, imo) and worst performances (at Arkansas in 2021) in his time at Texas?
