Arch Manning, QB

“Yeah, just trying to stick to the routine. Obviously, there’s a little more built up stuff with rivalry, but you try to play well every week, and you know next week’s going to be a big one. So, we’ve got to get
ready for this.” – on whether there’s a different mentality going into rivalry games

“I think going through tough games and the struggle. I feel like we needed that as a quarterback. It’s not easy, but trying to overcome it and really just going through those, seeing different looks and
experiences playing against tough teams has helped me a lot. But today wasn’t all that clean. We’ve got a lot of things to clean up. Could have been way better.” – on steps he’s taken to elevate his game in the last month

“I feel like us, as an offense, all of us play better when we’re having fun. So, we’ve got to continue that. It’s fun to play at home, in front of this crowd, and we’ve just got to keep going for next week.” – on the importance of having fun in games and playing with joy

Deandre Moore, WR

“I think Arch just needed to get his feet under him.” – on QB Arch Manning‘s recent success

“10/10, I didn’t know he had that in him.” – on Manning’s touchdown catch

Jelani McDonald, S

“Overall, as a team, we can all just make sure that we are on the same page and just making sure that we all can trust each other. We know we can trust each other. It’s just a matter of executing our play.” – on how they prepare for dual-threat quarterbacks going into Texas A&M game

“All of our linebackers are pretty much the same. They play with the same aggression, same physicality. It’s just the amount of experience. That’s it. We knew all week, during practice, we might be facing
some type of adversity, but as long as we stick together, we are good.” – on how losing Anthony Hill, Jr. affected the defense’s approach

Colin Simmons, EDGE

“I definitely have turned into one of the leaders on this defense, going into my second year. It takes a lot mentally, physically and emotionally, but just having that connection on the field with the players
is the big thing.” – on whether his role has expanded as a leader on defense

“A voice. Not only correcting [Anthony Hill Jr’s] linebackers, but correcting us up front at the D-line, back door at the safeties, as well as the DBs. He did what he was supposed to do, and I am grateful he was here.” – On what the defense got from Anthony Hill Jr despite not playing
