Five-Star Pittsburg (CA) Safety Jadyn Hudson received an offer from USC in late January. He announced the news on Twitter.

Hudson is the No. 52 overall prospect and No. 4 athlete in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 8 player in California.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Hudson holds 26 Power Five offers.

Early offers for Hudson

We first saw Hudson a year ago at the 2022 Under Armour Next Camp at Mission Viejo HS. It was obvious to me he would be a player to watch down the road. I spoke briefly with Hudson about that after the camp.

Now he has offers from USC, Georgia, Oregon, Cal, Michigan, Arizona, Michigan St., Colorado, Colorado St., Ohio St., FAU, LSU, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon St., Penn St., SMU, Pitt, Tennessee, Utah, Utah St., Washington, Minnesota, UNLV and Maryland. 25 offers for the talented 2025 5-Star.

USC return visit set for Spring Game

We hit up Hudson on three weeks ago to check in about a possible second Spring USC visit. His first visit came on March 4. WeAreSC asked if the visit moved the needle enough to get him back on Campus again soon?

“Yes it did,” said Hudson. “I’ll be there probably next month. I’m trying to lock in some details.”

Hudson announced Thursday night his plans to be at the Coliseum Saturday (4/15) for the USC Spring Game. We will talk to Hudson after the game.

On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM)

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has USC with a narrow lead over Oklahoma to land a commitment from Hudson. This should be fun.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college. It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

NIL Valuation

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $52K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
