USC extends new offer to 2024 OL Kalolo Ta'aga

USC has dished out a new offer in the class of 2024 with three weeks till signing day. Palo Alto (Cal.) Archbishop Riordan offensive tackle Kalolo Ta’aga went to Twitter to announce his new offer.

Ta’aga is a former San Jose State commit who has picked up some power five interest in recent weeks.

Ta’aga is currently ranked as the No. 1141 overall prospect and No. 72 offensive tackle in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 79 player in California.

This is an especially interesting recruitment as Ta’aga is a first year football player, previously in a basketball background.

Ta’aga. 6-foot-7, 265 pounds, now holds offers from USC, Arizona, Utah, Florida, Arizona State, BYU, UNLV, California, Fresno State, San Jose State, and Utah State.

Ta’aga has taken official visits to San Jose State, Utah, and Arizona.

With 18 commitments in the fold, USC remains No. 18 in the 2024 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. The current class is sitting at a class score of 90.40.

USC is sitting at No. 14 in the country in average prospect rating. The Trojans have an average commit rating of 90.14.

USC remains at No. 5 in the BIG 10 rankings. They remain behind Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, and Michigan. 

With a score of 90.40, the Trojans are just behind Michigan, which has a score of 90.921

USC is third in the Big 10 in average prospect rating.
