This afternoon, USC extended an offer to class of 2025 Overland Park (KS) St. Thomas Aquinas defensive lineman Julian Marks.

Marks is the No. 247 overall prospect and No. 26 defensive line in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Kansas.

On3 is higher on Marks than the rest of the industry, ranking him as the No. 187 overall prospect and No. 19 defensive lineman in the 2025 class. On3 also ranks him as the No. 2 prospect in Kansas.

On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine

The 6-foo-7, 255-pounder holds several 15 total offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Kansas State as the favorite to land a commitment from Marks at 28.4%. Missouri is a close second place at 24.9 %.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

On3 NIL Valuation for Marks

Marks currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $33K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

USC’s 2025 class

USC just landed their first commitment of the 2025 class this week in Oxford (Ala.) Thompson four-star safety Anquon Fegans.

Fegans is the No. 17 overall prospect and No. 2 safety in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also ranked as the No. 3 player in Alabama.
